In your opinion, what are districts major objectives and what is your vision to achieve them
Success of District lies in success of clubs, and success of clubs lies in the success of members. The more avenues of experiential learning club members get, more will be the positive transformation-which is the core of the program. Consequently, more members volunteering for these number of activities, the District grows stronger. This is exactly a circular ecosystem, which is surplus with Mentors, Coaches, Judges, Officers etc. For this to happen in a concerted manner, processes need to be in place and strengthened through Quality trainings.

With background in Training-Development and rich experience in District, I want to strengthen this circular ecosystem. Clubs supporting Clubs, like members supporting members, will be incentivised. Year-Round Trainings, special program for Judges in line with Club Coach Process, will be launched aimed at surplus judges.Result of this entire strategy is more member engagement and thus better retention. The ultimate aim “Quality Clubs”.

Candidate Biography
I have been a Toastmaster since 2012 and I have served as either a Club Officer or a District Officer in every single year of this Experience. I am employed as Soft Skills/English Faculty at American College of Culinary and Language Arts, Margao, Goa.

I have served as Area Director in 2016-17 and Club Extension Chair (Non-Credit) in 2018-19. I have also been conferred with numerous awards and recognitions which include: Distinguished Toastmaster Award (2017), Toastmaster of the Year, Division G (2016-2017), Triple Crown Awards (2020, 2017), Served as Club Sponsor (2017) and Served as Club Mentor (2018)

I ardently believe in and practice my brand of ‘Presence Leadership’, which propagates that the frequent physical presence of a leader can work wonders to build a Toastmasters Club. The idea of ‘Servant Leadership’ has also inspired me and emboldens me to be supportive, to listen and to serve fellow Toastmasters wholeheartedly.

In your opinion, what are districts major objectives and what is your vision to achieve them
Dedicated leaders have ensured the District has done magnificently and has shown sizeable growth. Continuing in the same vein, the objective would be to support new ideas like chartering Language Clubs. The District needs to keep up the tradition of providing a solid support system to every Club within the District. Member engagement could be improved and the District could devise ways to give members a more wholesome experience.

The District has been a great example of how ‘Servant Leadership’ can be put into action. The goal would be to make this powerful tool more relevant and actively spread more awareness about its long-lasting gains.

My vision, besides supporting District goals, would be to help start at least one or two language clubs in my Division. Besides, I envisage an outreach through ‘Servant Leadership’ to reach the grass-roots to support every member who eagerly wishes to improve their Toastmaster Experience.

Served as the President of ICG Toastmasters Club in 2017-18 and
Currently serving as the Area Director M4.

A soft spoken personality but a strong willed & focused leader, introduced Toastmasters at my workplace and as a member &Mentor of the Teva Goa Toastmasters Club, I am proud of one member who won the 1st Runner’s up at the Area ISC within four months of chartering.

Some of the awards to my credit are
2016-17 -Value Ambassador &Pristine Award
2019-20 - Completion of Leadership Development Path &Triple Crown
Through all of this, my educational qualifications with background in commerce, psychology and being an active NLP Practitioner, have contributed in my journey in Toastmasters.

In your opinion, what are districts major objectives and what is your vision to achieve them
District Mission is to build new clubs and help clubs in achieving excellence. To achieve this, my vision is to lead by empowering. #qualityattractsquantity! Make quality the foundation towards successful expansion.

Goa has been slow in terms of Club growth and stabilization. As an Area Director in Division M, we worked in reaching out to untapped Corporates and new cities like Vasco, Ponda with marketing events. Creating a rigid supportive ecosystem will aid in acting as a pedestal for new clubs and to finally become the strongest division in the District.

With a strong and stable system to reach out and get the answers to challenging situations, there is no stopping a focused leader from achieving the most difficult goals.

Mission to make Goa a strong Division!

Having said the above, my contribution to my Division will in turn contribute towards the District’s objectives.
